Who We Are:

At Centre Maranata, our vision is to foster a thriving, inclusive community where newcomers feel empowered to succeed while celebrating their cultural identities. Founded in 2024 by three inspiring woman Mary, Intissar, and Aziza we are committed to supporting immigrant families in Windsor-Essex County through culturally sensitive services like affordable daycare, skills training, and community engagement. Together, we bridge gaps and create opportunities, making every newcomer feel welcomed and valued.

Our Services:

Computer Skills Development Programs:

Recognizing the importance of digital literacy in today’s world, the center offers training programs that teach newcomers essential computer skills, enhancing their ability to apply for jobs, access resources, and engage with the broader community.

Cultural Integration Workshops:

These workshops provide newcomers with knowledge and tools to navigate Canadian society, including sessions on local customs, workplace norms, and cross-cultural communication.

Community Engagement and Networking Events:

Regular events foster connections between immigrant families and the broader Windsor-Essex community, promoting inclusivity, mutual understanding, and a sense of belonging.

Advocacy and Referral Services:

Centre Maranata acts as a resource hub, helping newcomers navigate systems such as housing, healthcare, education, and employment. Through culturally sensitive guidance and advocacy, the center ensures newcomers have access to the resources they need.

Affordable Daycare Services:

Centre Maranata’s daycare program provides a safe, nurturing, and culturally respectful environment for the children of immigrant families. The service is designed to support parents in their efforts to pursue education, secure employment, or attend skills training programs, ensuring peace of mind while their children are cared for.
